The big question most of us have asked ourselves is “What if Youtube crashed and never came back, are there other alternatives?”.
Well, I don’t think Youtube is going to leave anytime soon, but just incase it does, I have got you covered.

List Of Best Youtube Alternatives 2021
Here’s my epic list of alternatives to youtube App.
1. Dailymotion

The first on my list is Dailymotion, you probably must have come across this name before. Did you take it for granted? Well, you shouldn’t. Dailymotion has been around for a long period.
I was doing a brief research on Dailymotion and I got to know that it has been around for quite some time.
Dailymotion was founded in 2005, calculating the years in between would make you realized it has actually been around for quite a while.
Daily motion is quite safe to use. It is home to some amazingly outstanding news, entertainment, music, and sports videos. While surfing daily motion, I even noticed that they were some amazing videos that I could not find on Youtube.
If you are looking for a great alternative of Youtube, daily motion is worthy of being a great substitute.
2. Vimeo

The second youtube alternative 2021 on my list is Vimeo. Founded in November 2004, Vimeo is also home to some of the best videos on our lovely planet.
A lot of people use Vimeo already. If you haven’t used it, you can as well check it out. If you are trying Vimeo for the very first time, I would suggest you try their basic plan. With time, you can switch to better plans.
There are about four plans to choose from, which each plan having more features to offer.
In the Vimeo interface, you would find a whole lot of categories to watch from, my favorite categories are food, music, sports, and travel.
I think the best thing about Vimeo is the fact that is an Ad-free platform, it get’s money by providing various plans to its users.
3. HULU

Hulu is another alternative to Youtube 2021 that is worthy of note. It was founded in 2007 and houses some of the best TV shows and movies ever.
It’s not free like youtube, you’ll need to pay some cash to gain access. The most popular plan on Hulu costs $5.99 dollars.
If you have kids at home, they’ll love the cartoons on Hulu, I am a big fan of cartoons, and after trying out Hulu, I must confess, they are amazingly outstanding.

True fans of Flickr might come at me if I don’t include Flickr to my list of Youtube alternatives 2021. Flickr was created in the year 2004 and it an American image and video hosting company.
If you have never used Flickr before, the interface might be quite confusing at first, but with time, you’ll get the hang of it.
On startup, you can join Flickr for free, and choose to sign up for the pro version sometime in the feature. The pro version of Flickr gives you a lot of cool features that I’m sure you would like.
What are you waiting for? Join Flickr and start uploading the best images and videos.
5. Metacafe

The 5th Youtube alternative on my list is one that isn’t so popular. Have you ever heard of Metacafe?
Metacafe was founded in Israel in 2003, as you can see, it is way older than all the youtube alternatives I have listed in this article.
You won’t see lengthy videos on Metacafe, on the website you would find mostly videos that are short in length.
While doing some research on Metacafe, I found out that in its early years, it was quite similar to Youtube and Dailymotion, after being acquired by Collect Digital Services in 2012, Metacafe ceased to exist for a while and came back to being a website with short videos.
How short? 0:00-1:00.
Despite the fact that metacafe is home to short videos, I think it is still a great alternative of Youtube.
6. Twitch

Meet one of my favorite of all the Youtube alternatives listed in this article. If you are into live game streams? This is an amazing place to watch different live streams.
Twitch has been around since 2011 and it has been able to win over the hearts of so many users.
The interface is somewhat similar to that of Youtube.
I think twitch is somewhat addictive too, it’s almost impossible to visit the website and leave in less than an minute.
Care to try? Don’t say I didn’t tell you so;
Is twitch only for game streaming? No! Twitch is also houses some amazing videos and other content that non-gamers would appreciate.
7. VEOH

This one is totally free. Veoh has been around since 2010 and it is actually my cousin’s favorite. It is one of the best youtube alternatives 2021. Veoh has lots and lots of users and is home to some of the best movies, music, and different categories of videos including comedy, faith, people and lifestyle, horror, travel & culture, and a whole lot more.
There is never a boring moment at Veoh. Just make sure your phone has enough battery power and great internet connection.
Another trait to love about Veoh is that you don’t need an account to watch videos, you are not going to be forced to sign up or register. Just Open the website and start watching videos.
8. Ted Talks

Ted talks is the grand master. Want to know why I called it that? It has been around for over 36 years, yes, you heard me right, 36 years!
I was trying to dig up some information about Ted Talks and I sure did find a lot, but I’ll try to keep it short.
So, Ted talks is basically a non-profit organization that was founded in 1984, their main mission is to spread ideas. How is this done? By organizing short, powerful talks that are within the range of 18 minutes downwards.
On their website is a huge gallery of different talks that could be of great benefit and interest to you.
Ted talks is totally worthy of being on my list of video websites like youtube. I think you should check it out.

Like it or not, TikTok is an amazing Youtube alternative when it comes to entertaining videos.
Before you crucify me for Including TikTok on my list of Youtube alternatives 2021, listen to what I have to say.
Basically, the primary word for Youtube would be “Engaging content”. If your content isn’t engaging, people won’t want to watch it.
TikTok is a new platform on the block and is home to a lot of entertaining and engaging videos. The same way you can get famous uploading content on Youtube, you can also get TikTok famous if your videos are engaging enough.
Although, TikTok does not have web version, the App version works great on iOS and Android.
