- Input your username and password in the appropraite fields.
- Confirm you are not a robot then Log in.
- Input your username and Password Again.
- Scroll down and click on “Delete my account”
And there you have it. With just these 5 steps your snapchat account will be deleted. However, Snapchat won’t delete your data.
Snapchat will move your data to a recycle bin and there it will be stored for 30 days before final deletion.
And yes, this is just a figment of my imagination.
Actually, Snapchat stores your data for 30 days before deletion. I’m not sure about the recycle bin thingy though.
That is basically how you can delete your snapchat account if you ever get tired of using the App or you just want to control an addiction. I think deleting your account should be your last resort though. You could always uninstall Snapchat App if you can’t stop opening it whenever you power your Android device.
