In addition to the incredibly popular Google applications such as Gmail, Maps, Search, Chrome, etc., there are other several cool applications from Google and its subsidiaries. And considering that we are talking about Google, there are some very interesting Google Apps for Android that you might have no idea about.
List of Google Apps For Android
My Maps
The Google My Maps app is a stellar application and it’s a surprise that we’ve never heard of it. The application allows you to use regions on a map to add your own pointers and details.
So basically, it allows you to create your own custom map. For example, you can mark your favorite locations in the city and then use them to show your friend. You can save a map, create new maps and even share maps with your friends. It sounds useful, right?

Google Authenticator
Google Authenticator is an app aimed to make your two-step verification on Google accounts even more secure and hassle-free.
To start using the app, you will first have to set up 2-step verification on your Google account. After it’s set up, you will be able to use codes from the app instead of getting codes via text or email. The app generates new 2-step verification codes timely so that nobody opens the app and gets your code.
Google Calendar
This is one of simple and yet a powerful app for your android phone, from scheduling a meeting with a colleague to , planning a dinner with your loved one, and most importantly not to forget your loved one’s birthday( haha I used this to remember that day) to set a reminder this serves a good service.
Gboard
The swift keyboard is known for speed and works well with Android phones. I could type or swipe across the letters for better writing. This has a very auto-correcting feature to avoid any typo error. You can download the native language pack along with this app and you can switch between English and native language. Personally, I like it, you can also give it to try!
Wallpaper
With wallpaper, you do not have to worry about having the most beautiful wallpapers on your Android Smartphone.
Google wallpapers allow you to easily choose photos from your gallery, from the Google Earth collection, and fascinating Google+ landscapes, etc. Not only this, but it also allows you to change wallpapers daily, simply activate the settings and leave the rest in the application.

Files Go
The Google Archives application is quite new. It was first released as Files Go, a lightweight file manager for Android Go which is a shortened version of Android intended to run on a Smartphone with less than 1GB of RAM. However, after the immense popularity of Files Go, Google finally launched the application as an independent file manager for Android.
Having used Files app for the last few months, I can surely say that it’s one of the best file managers on Android. Not only it allows you to quickly access local storage, but it also allows you to clear junk files to free up storage, share files offline with Files users, and backup your data on the cloud. If you are not using Files by Google, you are missing out on one of the best Google apps I have ever used.

Google Keep
This is almost a similar app like Evernote and yet simple and an easy to use app. From notes to reminders we can use this and the notes are synced from phone to PC or from PC to phone.
Features;
- Add notes, lists, and photos to Google Keep. Pressed for time? Record a voice memo and Keep will transcribe it so you can find it later.
Share ideas with friends and family - Easily plan that surprise party by sharing your Keep notes with others and collaborating on them in real time.
Find what you need, fast - Color and add labels to code notes to quickly organize and get on with your life. If you need to find something you saved, a simple search will turn it up.

Google Trips
Do not let anything ruin your trip, install Google Trips on your Android smartphone. From planning your trip to making reservations, Google Trips allows you to do everything. With Google Trips, you can also search for nearby attractions, plan your trips and find what you should do anywhere.
The most amazing feature is that it is available offline, which means you really do not need to worry about the Internet while you travel. This is my favorite. I recommend you see this. You will not be disappointed.
Selfissimo!
For people who enjoy taking the selfie as much as I do, then I should definitely opt for Selfissimo. Selfissimo! It is an interesting application. The application uses Google’s experimental research technology to capture photos automatically every time you pose.
The application is quite easy to use, just start a photo session and start posing. Each time you hold a pose for a few seconds, the application will automatically capture the image. It feels like magic when it works perfectly since it uses experimental software; the performance depends on the device you are using. Still, it’s a very interesting Google application that you should definitely review.

PhotoScan
PhotoScan is a fun Google application that allows users to save their already printed photos in digital format.
Basically, the application uses your Smartphone’s camera so you can scan and save your favorite printed photos.
We all know how good Google is with its camera software and the same goes for this application. The application does not just take a photo of your printed photos; rather, it creates improved digital scans.
The application offers functions such as glare-free scans, automatic cropping based on edge detection, rectangular scans with perspective correction and intelligent rotation to give you a perfect scan of your photos. The best part is that all the scanned images are saved in Google Photos, where they are organized and sorted and searchable.

Conclusion
You’ve might have heard of some of the applications on the list, but you most definitely have not heard of most of them. Honestly, I did not even have any idea of some of these Google apps on the list, but after trying them, I was pleasantly surprised at how good these apps were.
