If you have been searching for how to delete quora account then you’ve just arrived in the right place, I will show you a step by step process of how you can easily get rid of your Quora account, and deactivate your quora account.

What is Quora?

Well, have you ever wanted to know why the sun is so dang hot? Why the ocean is blue? What happens when you sleep? Quora is where to get answers to questions like this.
The fun part is, Answers come from different people, and most of the people that provide answers are professional in specific fields that relate to questions you ask, or just people that have experienced what you have not.

Sure, you can search on Google or Bing for ”how to get good sleep”, and find various answers that most times will not answer your question. But with Quora, you can easily find someone who has had the same issue as you do and also has the solution to the specific issue.

So basically, Quora is a question and answer website where questions are asked or created, edited and answered.

Cool right?

Now let’s say you have opened a Quora account and for some reason you just want to quit?
I will show you how to quit by taking you through a step by step process of deleting your quora account.

How To Delete Quora Account Permanently

And that’s it.

Everything thing or connection between you and quora slowly comes to an end when you hit that ”Delete button”.

However, Once the delete button is activated, you have a grace period of 14 days to reconsider getting your account back.

After the 14 days grace period, your quora account will be deleted permanently. You would have to create a new quora account if you want to get back in.

But hey! Don’t go just yet.

There’s one more thing.

While on the privacy page of your quora account you would notice that there is Delete and deactivate.

How Do You Deactivate Your Quora Account?

It is basically the same as the deletion process. But don’t get it twisted, deleting your account on quora and deactivating are two different things.

Deactivating your account on quora won’t permanently delete the quora account. The questions and answers you have will still be in their database. Even your account details will still remain on quora.

So what changes then?

Quora won’t send you emails or notifications.

The Good part about deactivating your quora account is that it can be reactivated by you at any time.

So. as earlier said, the steps are the same, follow the steps for deleting your Quora account and then after the privacy page, Do not tap on Delete, tap on deactivate instead

  1. No, that’s not ‘it’. You have to enter a password to delete your Quora account. I can’t remember my password. There is no help on the website so I can’t delete an account I have grown to hate.
It only gives you the option to reset your password, but in order to that you have to remember your password.
No email contact on the website either.

  2. I decided that Quora and it’s users asking dumb, loaded questions, were pissing me off to the extent where an account deletion was neccesarry. Screw deactivation, that assumes that at some point I’ll undo one of the best decisions I’ve made in recent months. When people are that stupid, and my tolerance of them has dropped to this low, then the whole thing’s gotta go. Might get some peace in my inbox now, and not a constant stream of loaded troll bait day after day.

  3. Today I deleted my Quora account. I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted off my mind. Those frequent annoying pop ups were a huge distraction. Quora moderators are jerks who collapse your answers for the most frivolous reasons. And then they will reinstate them if you scream, “assholes, I will fuck your wife” at them. Absolutely no spine.

All users can see each and every answer and comment you ever edited. There can be embarrassing things you wrote in a distant past but Quora keeps them on the record forever.

I hated so many of regular Quora users. They have no grace, class or even temperament. Their comments to your answers can be borderline abusive. I dreaded answering a few controversial questions as I knew it would turn into a slanging match of the lowest order. Quora forces you to use your real name and surname which can be a huge problem if you find yourself a job where HR teams will search your entire Internet history.

    Bye Bye Quora. You suck.
