You are losing a LOT of money if you aren’t using this feature on Facebook.
Who can open the Facebook Store?
Here are the requirements for creating a Facebook shop.
- You need to own a Facebook account.
- You need to have a Facebook page for your business.
- Your Facebook shop must agree with the merchant’s terms.
- You must sell physical items.
Anybody can open a Facebook shop for his or her business, all you need to do is get the requirements.
The first thing is owning a Facebook account. You can’t possibly go through without a Facebook account, if you have an old account, that’s great.
If you are opening an account for the first time you need to build up your friends because there are the ones that will most likely patronize your Facebook shop.
Now, let’s move to the fun part where I show you how to add shop to Facebook page.
How To Create Facebook Shop
Note: I’ll be using Facebook Web for this illustration.
1. Go to your Facebook Page: You can do this by clicking on the name of your page in the left after logging in to Facebook Web.

2. On the Facebook page, you should see a Shop button, click on it.

3. Next up, you need to click on the Describe what you sell button. After that, you need to specify what you will be selling to your clients.
An example would be. (Techytab stores! We specialize in selling high-quality Laptop chargers, Laptops and more.)
Don’t overlook this part, you need to make it look compelling and convincing.
Save changes when done.

4. The next part is the fun part, adding items to your shop.
Click on the Add Product button. It will take you to a page where you can add images or videos of your product.

Name
This is where you’ll need to insert the unique name of the product you want to sell. Example; Premium Tuxedo Suit For Men.
Price
Here you need to insert the price of your item. Remember, it can’t be higher or less, so, be sure about what you are setting as price.

If you are offering a promo or discount, you can toggle on the This product is on sale button and declare your discount price.
Description
Here you need to specify all details about the item you are selling, your description needs to be compelling enough so that your buyer doesn’t have to look elsewhere.
Make sure the description is very informative.
Inventory
You can use this toggle button to declare a product in stock or out of stock.
Options
This feature comes in handy when you have a product that has various colors or sizes. Simply select the option and then input the variations as seen below.

Each variation can have a different price. It’s your choice. Click on Apply when done.
Visibility
Select Public if you want people to see the product. Select Unpublished to hide the product from people.
Condition
The final is the condition option, if the product you are selling is used, new, refurbished, etc. You should specify for buyers to know.

That’s basically how to create a Facebook shop.
But that’s not all, after creating a good number of products, you need to organize them so that your clients can easily navigate through categories instead of looking for a refrigerator in the men’s suit section.
