The first app on my list of best tethering apps for ANdroid is TP-Link Tether. If you have a router at home, downloading this app would help you manage connections in the best possible way ever. You can set up a password, block and unblock access, and more.
This app does wonders, but you need to check if your router is compatible, there is a list of compatible routers, just click on the download link below and scroll down to the description section to see the list of compatible routers.
This is one of the best applications to share an internet connection with your windows computer. You might need to install PdaNet on your PC for this app to work efficiently. You can connect using a hotspot or USB cable. I have tested this app and I must say, it is worth including in my list of best tethering Apps for Android.
There’s also an option to connect this app to your windows PC to share your phone’s internet connection using bluetoooth.
- ClockworkMod Tether (no root)
The (no root) simply means you do not need to jailbreak your device before using the app. ClockworkMod is lightweight and one of the most east tether apps to use on Android devices. If you own a MAC, Windows or Linux operating, you should have no issues trying to connect.
All you need to do is make sure you download and install the application on your MAC, Windows, or Linux PC. You’ll need the app on both devices to establish a connection.

The next app is this simple one from Duck Software. It works well and fast too. For it to work, you should have already installed the appropriate drivers on your PC. This application works strictly on USB tethering mode.

While reviewing this app, I noticed that some Apps like the Facebook lite app wasn’t connecting to the internet. Hopefully, this will get fixed in the next update.

This is a new tethering app on the block. You can use this app to easily share your phone’s connection with your PC. You can also use this app to share your PC’s internet connection with your Phone.
Up to five devices can be connected using this application. Aside from the Windows operating system, you might not need to enable USB debugging.
